With 1.800 stands; with the presence of more than 50 countries; with 74,000 visitors in 2006; over a surface of 40,000 square meters; considered the most important tourism fair in Latin America and the fourth in the world, on Saturday 17th, November, in La Rural of Buenos Aires, the 2007 edition of the Feria Internacional de Turismo is opened.

This year, FIT will be working from November 17th to 20th. Saturday and Sunday it is opened to the general public; on Monday and Tuesday, only to tourism professionals. The organizers expect at least 75,000 visitors, continuing with the trend that makes every edition of the fair, since the first one on 1996 with an audience of 12,000, more popular than the previous one.

For tourism workers, FIT is a must-go oportunity for business. For Porteños, it is a chance for travelling without leaving Buenos Aires, what with the stands offering shows, games, typical clothes parades and regional foods. And also, of course, all the information necessary for planning the vacations of the next two decades.
