ARCHIVE + COMUNICATION

The Audiovisual Archive is a center of audiovisual production focused in the preservation, conservation, catalogue and publishing of contemporary Argentinean culture.

It is constituted by:

- Audiovisual interviews —produced by its own team— focused on the lives of the artists and on the creative process of the different disciplines: Literature, Theater, Visual Arts, Music and Movies.

- A documental base that includes audio and video recordings of TV and radio programs, readings, conferences, exhibitions, theater plays, documentaries and films on life and work of Argentinean writers, visual artists, theater personalities and musicians.

Agreement

The Buenos Aires Audiovisual Archive and Centro Cultural Recoleta signed (in March, 2007) an agreement to interview Argentinean visual artists, together.
These registries are added to the Buenos Aires Audiovisual Archive documental base and to the one of the CEDIP (Centro de Estudios, Investigación y Publicaciones) at the Centro Cultural Recoleta.
They have been also recorded exhibitions and guided tours at the Centro Recoleta.

Tribute: Raúl Lozza
Plastic artist, art theorist, vanguardist and representative of the Concrete Art, Raúl Lozza passed away last January 28th at the age of 96, at his home at Paternal neighborhood. Until the end of his life, he dedicated to his art with great passion. We remember him through a video recorded for the presentation of the prizes Premios Cultura 2007 and through an interview (audio) done by the Radio National program "Con ciencia y trabajo". (+)
